Three vehicles were involved in a fatal crash Tuesday evening in Dent County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the incident occurred around 5:35 p.m. on Highway 32 near Highway P.
A 2020 Ford Escape was stopped, waiting for oncoming traffic to pass for a left turn, when it was struck from behind by a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 traveling east.
The impact caused the Dodge to cross the centerline and collide with a westbound 1973 Dune Buggy.
Troopers reported that the 60-year-old male Dune Buggy driver and his 59-year-old female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene at 5:56 p.m.
According to MSHP, neither individual was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Authorities are investigating the incident. No further details were available regarding lane closures or towing at this time.
