Multi-Vehicle Crash Closes Chef Menteur Highway in New Orleans East
NEW ORLEANS, LA – A multi-vehicle crash with injuries briefly closed Chef Menteur Highway at Downman Road Wednesday afternoon.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m. within the Pines Village area. At least one vehicle overturned during the collision. The roadway was reopened by 12:47 p.m.
New Orleans Police and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene by 12:30 p.m. Authorities have not confirmed the number or severity of injuries involved in the crash.
