Columbus, Ohio — A 58-year-old man died days after an August 13 e-bike collision on Summit Street, authorities said.
According to the Columbus Police Department, William Brewer, 58, was riding an ESKUTE T300 e-bike northbound in the bike lane on Summit Street when a white Ford E-250 turning right onto Summit Street struck him.
Authorities said Brewer was ejected and taken to Grant Medical Center, where his condition was upgraded from stable to critical after evaluation. He later died from his injuries.
The Accident Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate.
