A fatal motorcycle crash in Frankford claimed the life of a 37-year-old man on Sept. 14, according to authorities.
James Harrell, traveling west on Sharp Road at 7:27 a.m., veered off the roadway and struck a rock embankment, State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron reported.
Harrell was ejected from his motorcycle and succumbed to his injuries at the scene, the report stated. The incident is under investigation.
This crash marks the second motorcycle fatality in Sussex County within a 24-hour period. Earlier, a Pennsylvania man died when his motorcycle ran off Route 23 in Montague; that incident is also under investigation.
