MORRISTOWN — A multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 287 has left two people injured this afternoon.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at 1:02 p.m. near mile marker 32.4 in the northbound lanes.
The crash involved three vehicles, and two occupants were transported to Morristown Medical Center for treatment. Their current conditions remain unknown.
According to authorities, northbound traffic was significantly impacted, with lane closures in effect while crews cleared the wreckage and conducted an investigation.
No fatalities have been reported, and police are working to determine the circumstances leading to the collision.
