Four people died and one woman survived after a car plunged into Cincinnati's Mill Creek around 6 p.m. Aug. 15, authorities said.
According to the Cincinnati Police Department, a black 2019 Infiniti Q50 was traveling east on Queen City Avenue when it struck a guardrail at the roadway's dead end and dropped into the creek below.
Firefighters arrived within minutes, pulled four occupants from the submerged vehicle, and performed CPR; all four were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
Police said a 27-year-old woman survived and was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
A witness riding a bus on the Western Hills Viaduct called 911 after seeing the overturned vehicle in the water and reported a woman signaling for help, according to a recording obtained by The Enquirer.
