89-Year-Old Man Injured in Marshall County Crash
STATE CENTER, Iowa — An 89-year-old man reported missing from Webster County suffered severe injuries in a crash in Marshall County on Wednesday at approximately 12:30 p.m.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Highway 30 and Durham Avenue, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office. Authorities reported that 38-year-old Joshua Good of Ogden, who was driving a semi, was uninjured in the collision.
Robert Craigmile, of Gowrie, was in a car and sustained serious injuries. He is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Des Moines. Craigmile had been reported missing the day prior.
The crash remains under investigation. The Iowa Department of Transportation and State Center officials are working on plans to reconfigure the intersection due to the high incidence of accidents at that location.
