MERIDIAN, Idaho — A motorcycle crash on I-84 East near the Five Mile overpass resulted in a fatality Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m., according to Idaho State Police. 20-year-old Jordon Myers-Rose of Meridian was riding a motorcycle when he rear-ended a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, leading to a subsequent collision with a 2015 Ford F150.
Myers-Rose sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities confirmed that he was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. The crash has been ruled an accident, and no other injuries were reported.
Emergency response agencies were on the scene, and there were no immediate lane closures affecting traffic. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
