Four Hospitalized in Six-Vehicle Crash on Route 6 in Sandwich
SANDWICH, MA — Four people were hospitalized following a six-vehicle collision on Route 6 Saturday morning.
At approximately 8:59 a.m., Sandwich Fire Department units arrived to find two vans and two SUVs among the six vehicles involved. The first ambulance on the scene reported a total of 18 patients, with one individual requiring extrication from a vehicle.
Additional ambulances were dispatched for support. Four individuals were transported to Cape Cod Hospital, while 14 others were treated at the scene and did not require hospitalization.
The incident is currently under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
