Grant County Authorities Investigate Hit-and-Run on US Highway 151
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. (WKOW) – The Grant County Sheriff's Office is investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred on US Highway 151 on Oct. 29.
According to Sheriff Craig Reukauf, the crash happened near County Highway D in Platteville Township. A 2012 Dodge Avenger was traveling north on US Highway 151 when a semi-truck hauling gravel crossed into its lane, striking the front end of the vehicle. The semi did not stop and continued north toward Lafayette County.
The driver of the Avenger was not injured, but the vehicle was rendered inoperable due to the collision.
