Woman Killed, Two Injured in Greeley Crash
GREELEY, Colo. — A woman died and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash early Monday morning.
At approximately 5:20 a.m., Greeley Police Department responded to the incident on Highway 34 (W. 10th Street) near 59th Avenue. First responders extricated both drivers and initiated life-saving measures before transporting the injured to a nearby hospital, according to the Greeley Police Department.
Preliminary investigations indicate a 33-year-old woman in a Honda CR-V was traveling eastbound while a 45-year-old woman drove a Chrysler sedan westbound when their vehicles collided. The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the hospital, and her identity has not yet been released.
A 38-year-old man, a passenger in the Honda, remains hospitalized, while the driver of the Chrysler has since been released, authorities said.
