Car Crash in Easton Claims Life of 20-Year-Old
EASTON, MA — A car crash overnight in Easton has resulted in the death of a 20-year-old man, according to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office.
At approximately 1:04 a.m. on Wednesday, first responders received a 911 call about a single-vehicle accident on Route 138, near the Raynham town line. Upon arrival, emergency personnel discovered a blue Tesla, significantly damaged and engulfed in flames, about 20 feet off the southbound lane.
The victim was located in the rear seat of the vehicle. The chief medical examiner's office took custody of the remains after the fire was extinguished, with an autopsy scheduled to follow.
Authorities stated that there are currently no signs of suspicious circumstances surrounding the crash. The process of notifying the victim's family is ongoing, and the individual's name has not been released.
