LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Two individuals were struck in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 on Saturday evening, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
Troopers responded at approximately 7:23 p.m. to the northbound lanes of I-15, just south of Washington Avenue. The incident involved a white Ford pickup truck and a black Honda HR-V, with preliminary reports indicating the crash resulted from a red-light violation.
Following the collision, the Ford pickup veered onto the shoulder and collided with two unhoused individuals at the roadside. One man was trapped under the truck and subsequently rescued by Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, then transported to a local hospital with injuries. The second individual was assessed at the scene but did not require hospitalization.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
