Fatal Crash in Little Woods Claims Two Lives
A two-vehicle crash in Little Woods on Thursday morning resulted in two fatalities, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:23 a.m. at the intersection of Morrison Road and Read Boulevard. Officials reported that a white BMW SUV traveling eastbound on Morrison collided with a black Chevrolet Camaro traveling southbound on Read.
The driver of the BMW was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Camaro driver was transported to a local hospital by New Orleans EMS. The Camaro driver later succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the crash and have yet to release further information.
