33-Year-Old Man Arrested Following E-Bike Crash in Johnston.

(WJAR) — A crash involving an E-bike in Johnston resulted in the arrest of a 33-year-old man on Wednesday evening.

Emergency crews responded at approximately 8:00 p.m. to the intersection of 780 Hartford Avenue. According to authorities, a vehicle was traveling east on Hartford Avenue and was entering a parking lot when the E-bike collided with the passenger side.

The E-bike operator, identified as 33-year-old Mackenzie Antoch from Cranston, sustained injuries, including a laceration, and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital. Police reported his injuries were classified as minor.

Further investigation revealed that Antoch was wanted on a Superior Court bench warrant related to drug charges in Westerly. He was taken into custody following his release from the hospital.

The incident is under investigation by local authorities.
