A 21-year-old male died in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Turner, Maine.
According to authorities, Jacob White was driving a Ford Escape at a high rate of speed on Route 219, known as Howes Corner Road, when the vehicle crashed around 3 a.m., near the intersection with Route 117.
Emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene, where White was pronounced dead. No additional information on his hometown is currently available.
The crash is actively under investigation, and Roadway officials reported no lane closures as a result.
