Cranston, R.I. – Two people were injured in a collision that happened on Wednesday night in Cranston.
According to the police, the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. on Pontiac Avenue, near the ACI.
A Toyota Corolla was traveling northbound when it drifted into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with a GMC Yukon.
The driver of the Corolla was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered head trauma, and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.
The driver of the Yukon sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Both vehicles sustained serious damage.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
