Brick, N.J. – One person was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday morning in Brick.
According to the police, the accident happened around 8:30 a.m. on Route 70 at Duquesne Boulevard.
A man driving a Hyundai Sonata was stopped for a red traffic signal when he was rear-ended by a Volkswagen minivan.
The impact of the collision pushed the Hyundai into a Ford F250 pickup truck and a Dodge Ram pickup that was stopped at the light.
The man driving the Sonata was seriously injured and was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for treatment.
The driver of the Volkswagen was taken to Ocean University Medical Center in Brick where he was treated and released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
