LE CLAIRE, Iowa — A crash involving a semitrailer and two cars occurred Tuesday evening, resulting in one fatality and four injuries.
Authorities identified the deceased as 32-year-old Moriah Rosa. The incident transpired near South Cody Road and West Canal Shore Drive when the southbound semitrailer collided with the two northbound vehicles, one of which became lodged beneath the truck.
An 18-year-old driver suffered injuries but is listed in stable condition. Three children, aged 2 to 9 years, were also injured and remain in critical condition. The driver of the semitrailer reported no injuries.
