LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. — A crash involving a motorcycle and a car resulted in the death of a 66-year-old man in Lake Worth Beach on May 14.
The incident occurred at 11:04 a.m. at the intersection of North Dixie Highway and 13th Avenue North. According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, a 2014 Hyundai Elantra traveling north attempted a left turn, colliding with a southbound 2007 Triumph Speedmaster motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, John Dudley Dey, was transported with critical injuries to St. Mary's Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 8:56 p.m. on May 16, authorities said.
The 24-year-old driver of the Hyundai was unharmed, according to investigators. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
