IDAHO COUNTY, Idaho — Two Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputies and a third motorcyclist died in a collision on a scenic highway Tuesday evening.

According to Idaho State Police, the crash occurred when a 60-year-old woman from Colorado Springs driving a F-150 pickup attempted to pass another vehicle in a marked no-passing zone. The driver crossed the double-yellow centerline, colliding with three motorcyclists on the opposite side of the roadway.

The incident involved LCSO Deputy Ethan Powers, 35, and Sgt. Jeremy Coleman, 45, along with Coleman's son-in-law Nathan McCormick, 26. All three were from Colorado.

Idaho State Police are investigating the crash, and the driver of the F-150 has been arrested and booked into the Idaho County Jail on three counts of vehicular manslaughter.

The Idaho County Coroner's Office has confirmed the identities of the deceased after notifying their families. Further details regarding lane closures and towing arrangements were not immediately available. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
