Two injured in single-vehicle accident on Route C near Julie Street early Sunday morning.
A 1994 Jeep Wrangler was traveling south on Route C when it veered off the road and overturned at 1:40 a.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).
The crash left a 20-year-old male passenger from Fulton, Mo., with moderate injuries, while the 17-year-old male driver from Mokane, Mo., sustained serious injuries. Both individuals were transported to University Hospital by EMS.
MSHP reported that neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
