LAFAYETTE MOTORCYCLE CRASH FATALITY REPORTED
A Lafayette man died following a motorcycle accident on Sharp Road in Frankford on September 14.
James Harrell, 37, was traveling west at approximately 7:27 a.m. when his motorcycle veered off the road and struck a rock embankment, according to State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron. Harrell was ejected from the bike and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
This incident marks the second fatal motorcycle crash in Sussex County within 24 hours. Just hours earlier, an accident occurred in Montague, resulting in the death of a Pennsylvania man. Both crashes remain under investigation by local authorities.
