TINTON FALLS − Borough police are seeking witnesses to a pedestrian crash that occurred on Sycamore Avenue near Old Farm Road on Friday, Sept. 25.
A 40-year-old man from Keyport was struck by two eastbound vehicles at approximately 7:15 p.m., authorities said. The first vehicle hit the pedestrian, followed by a second vehicle that ran him over.
Emergency responders provided medical aid at the scene, but further details on the man's condition have not been released. The roadway was closed temporarily for an investigation, and authorities are reviewing traffic camera footage.
No further information on injuries or the vehicles involved has been confirmed. Police urge anyone with information to come forward.
