Three killed in fiery crash on rural Nevada highway.

Fatal Crash in Esmeralda County Claims Three Lives

ESMERALDA COUNTY, NV — Three individuals died in a between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer on Highway 95 early Saturday morning, August 23, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at approximately 6:15 a.m. near mile marker 13, located about seven miles south of Goldfield. Authorities stated that a Ford F-150 was heading north when it crossed the center line, colliding with a southbound tractor-trailer.

The force of the impact caused the pickup to overturn and subsequently catch fire. Emergency responders pronounced the driver and two passengers deceased at the scene. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
