Stillwater Avenue Crash Causes Traffic Delays Tuesday Afternoon
BANGOR, Maine — A head-on collision occurred on Stillwater Avenue near Goodwill on Tuesday, resulting in minor injuries to three individuals.
According to Lt. Gregg Morrill of the Bangor Fire Department, the crash temporarily reduced traffic to one lane. Emergency responders assisted at the scene, providing medical aid to the injured.
Traffic congestion extended significantly in both directions following the incident. Witnesses reported that construction work on Hogan Road further exacerbated delays.
The lane reduction has since been lifted, and Stillwater Avenue has fully reopened to traffic. Authorities are reviewing the situation but have not confirmed the cause of the crash.
