One seriously injured in Stamford crash involving two SUVs early Sunday morning.
Authorities reported that a Volkswagen SUV was traveling north on Long Ridge Road when a Nissan SUV, turning around in a parking lot, collided with it. The incident occurred as the Nissan exited the lot to head south on Long Ridge Road.
The driver of the Nissan, a 39-year-old male from Norwalk, sustained serious, potentially life-threatening injuries and required extrication from the vehicle. The driver of the Volkswagen, a 24-year-old male from Stamford, and a front seat passenger, a 30-year-old female from Stamford, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
All three individuals were transported to Stamford Hospital Emergency Room for medical treatment.
