Multiple-Vehicle Crash on Highway 10 Results in Injuries
MONTGOMERY, AL – 2:41 p.m., October 13, 2023 – Authorities reported a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 10 near Exit 7, resulting in multiple injuries and lane closures.
The crash involved five vehicles, including two semi-trucks. Emergency responders from the Montgomery Fire Department and State Highway Patrol arrived at the scene shortly after the accident was reported. Medical personnel provided aid to three individuals with injuries, though none are believed to be life-threatening.
According to officials, the westbound lanes were closed for approximately two hours while the scene was cleared and an investigation was conducted. Towing services removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the collision, with updates expected later this afternoon. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes until the road fully reopens.
