Aurora Police Seek Suspects in Fatal I-225 Rollover Crash
AURORA, CO—Authorities are searching for two individuals who fled the scene of a fatal rollover crash on Interstate 225 early Saturday morning.
At approximately 2:15 a.m., a ride-hail driver in a Toyota Corolla traveling north near East Iliff Avenue collided with a Chevrolet Silverado, causing the Corolla to roll over and come to a stop on the highway shoulder, according to the Aurora Police Department.
One passenger in the Toyota, identified by the Arapahoe County Coroner's Office, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and another passenger were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Both occupants of the Silverado exited the vehicle and departed the scene on foot, police reported. Speed is believed to have contributed to the incident.
