KANSAS CITY, MO — A rollover crash involving a Ford Mustang on Saturday resulted in serious injuries to a rear seat passenger, local authorities confirmed.
The incident occurred around 2:41 p.m. near the intersection of 12th Street and Main Street. Police reported that the Mustang was traveling southbound when it lost control, leading to the rollover.
According to the Kansas City Police Department, the rear seat passenger was ejected from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The driver and other passengers sustained minor injuries but were treated at the scene.
Emergency responders from the Kansas City Fire Department assisted at the location, with multiple ambulances on standby. The roadway was partially closed for approximately two hours as crews worked to clear the scene and conduct an investigation.
