READING, Mass. —
One person was hospitalized after being rescued from a vehicle that crashed into a wooded area near a rotary off Interstate 95 on Thursday around 5 p.m.
The Reading Fire Department, along with the Wakefield Fire Department, responded to the scene to assist in extracting the victim, who was trapped in a gully.
The individual was subsequently transported to a nearby trauma center; the extent of their injuries remains unknown.
Authorities described the scene as challenging due to difficult terrain. Both the Reading Police Department and Wakefield Police Department assisted during the incident.
