CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — At least one person was injured in a crash that closed Route 2 in Cabell County on Monday morning.
The incident occurred around 6:50 a.m. near Nursery Lane and Old WV 2 Road in the Lesage area. Authorities said Route 2 remains closed in that vicinity.
One individual was transported to the hospital; however, no details on their condition have been released.
Emergency responders included the Cabell County Sheriff's Office, Ohio River Road Volunteer Fire Department, and EMS crews.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing, and further information has not been disclosed.
