Carlton County Crash Leaves One Dead, One Critical
CARLTON COUNTY, MN — A single-vehicle crash on Sunday evening killed one man and critically injured another, according to the Carlton County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to the scene at the intersection of Thomson Road and Kangas Road around 6:30 p.m. The vehicle had gone off the road. The two men, both from the Barnum area, were occupants of the same car.
Tyler Nynas, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 26-year-old man was airlifted to a Duluth hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed the crash is under investigation.
