Lincoln County Crash Leaves One Dead
LINCOLN COUNTY, MS — A fatal crash occurred on Friday at 8 a.m. on Highway 84.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, a 2016 Ford F-150 driven by 30-year-old Alexis Bass of Natchez collided with a 2015 Volkswagen Passat operated by 40-year-old Jeffery Grimes of Ruth, who was traveling north on East Lincoln Road.
Authorities reported that Grimes sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
