TOWN OF PRIMROSE, Wis. (WKOW) — Two men were killed in a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 92 near Spring Rose Road on Monday at 5:49 p.m.
Maxwell J. Parman, 21, of New Glarus, and Adam V. Schultz, 44, of Barneveld, died at the scene, according to the Dane County Medical Examiner's Office. One vehicle was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival, while the other sustained significant damage.
Authorities from the Dane County Sheriff's Office reported that one vehicle crossed the center line, resulting in a head-on collision. Each vehicle contained one occupant.
The crash prompted a five-hour road closure as officials conducted an investigation. Preliminary findings indicated that both men succumbed to injuries sustained in the incident.
The Dane County Sheriff's Office and the Office of the Dane County Medical Examiner are continuing their investigations.
