NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 39-year-old man died early Saturday morning following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 40.
According to Metro Police, Jayson Braddy was driving a 2002 Toyota Tundra east on I-40 when he entered the ramp to I-440 East at approximately 7:15 a.m. at a high rate of speed.
Authorities reported that the vehicle failed to negotiate the curve, running off the left side of the roadway and rolling over.
Braddy, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Toxicology tests will be conducted to identify any factors contributing to the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
