Multiple vehicles were involved in a significant accident on pit road during the Nu Way 225 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois, on Sept. 12 at approximately 2:41 p.m.

Rajah Caruth lost control and spun into Brent Crews' stall, triggering a chain reaction that also involved Nick Sanchez, Harrison Burton, Anthony Alfredo, and Jeremy Clements. The collision blocked the entire pit lane.

According to the CW broadcast, no crew members were injured despite the contact. However, Brandon Jones sustained severe front-end damage in a separate incident.

More than half of the field had to halt their race behind the blocked pit lane, prompting a red flag that lasted several minutes while the area was cleared. Sanchez, Clements, and Burton all required assistance and went behind the wall for repairs.

The red flag was eventually lifted, allowing the remaining cars stuck behind the blockage to proceed with their pit stops.
