A motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision with a horse trailer on U.S. 23 near Scioto Downs in south Columbus Friday.
According to authorities, a southbound pickup truck pulling a horse trailer began turning left into Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs just before 7 p.m., and a motorcycle in the oncoming lane struck the trailer on U.S. 23.
Emergency crews took the rider to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. The pickup driver was not hurt, authorities said.
