Winston-Salem, NC. – A man was killed in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred in Winston-Salem on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Winston-Salem Police Department, the fatal crash happened around 2:11 p.m. in the 2500 block of Clemmonsville Road.
A Mercury was driving east on Clemmonsville Road when it drifted into the opposite lanes and collided with a Dodge and a Ford.
The 82-year-old driver of the Mercury was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Dodge was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the Ford was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
