(WJAR) — Dighton police reported a man fled on foot following a head-on crash that injured four people on Thursday evening.
According to police, officers responded to Center Street at approximately 7:18 p.m. for the collision. Two adults and two juveniles were transported to local hospitals with injuries.
The man accused of causing the crash evacuated the scene on foot. Authorities deployed K-9 units in an extensive search of the surrounding area, but the individual was not located.
Officials confirmed that the suspect has been identified, although his name has not been released pending further investigation. Charges are expected to be filed.
