TAMPA ‑ A multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 275 left two people injured and closed multiple lanes early Thursday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash, involving three cars, occurred around 5:45 a.m. near the Lemmon Street exit. Emergency responders transported the injured individuals to a nearby hospital; their conditions are not yet confirmed.
Authorities said the accident caused the northbound lanes to be blocked for over an hour while the scene was cleared. Towing services were called to remove the damaged vehicles.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the incident; no additional details regarding the cause or charges have been released.
