Authorities reopened Interstate 65 north near Goodlettsville following a fatal semi-truck collision.
The incident occurred just after midnight on April 8 when a truck carrying chickens collided with another truck transporting miscellaneous freight, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
One truck caught fire in the crash, resulting in one confirmed fatality.
Emergency crews deployed excavators and a construction dumpster to assist with the cleanup of the extensive debris field.
