Highway 43 in Vanceboro reopened after a crash involving a dump truck and a tractor-trailer earlier today.
According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred when a beer truck exited a gas station and failed to yield to a dump truck traveling south.
The collision caused significant damage, with the tractor-trailer's trailer splitting open and spilling beer onto the roadway.
No injuries were reported. The crash led to a temporary closure of Highway 43 as crews worked to clear the scene.
Authorities confirmed that the roadway has since reopened.
