Four Dead, Eleven Injured in Ybor City Crash Involving Speeding Vehicle
TAMPA (WFLA) — A man from Dade City has been charged with eight felonies following a crash that resulted in the deaths of four individuals early Saturday morning in Ybor City, according to the Tampa Police Department.
Police Chief Lee Bercaw stated that the incident began around 12:40 a.m. when police air units observed two vehicles racing westbound on Hillsborough Avenue. The investigation is ongoing as authorities gather more details about the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
