Lede: A crash on Interstate 10 in San Antonio on Monday afternoon resulted in the deaths of a woman and two children.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 1:35 PM on October 28, 2025, involving a minivan and a pickup truck. Emergency services reported that the minivan, carrying a family of three, collided head-on with the pickup in the westbound lanes near Mile Marker 200.
The San Antonio Fire Department and Texas Department of Public Safety responded promptly to the scene, providing medical aid to the injured. Unfortunately, the woman, identified as 34 years old, and two children, both under 10 years old, were pronounced dead at the site. The driver of the pickup was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators have closed two westbound lanes to assess the area and gather evidence. As of now, authorities are looking into the cause of the crash.
