Elderly Woman Seriously Injured in Victoria Pedestrian Incident
An 85-year-old woman was seriously injured Wednesday morning while crossing Victoria Drive, according to the Carver County Sheriff's Office.
Witnesses reported that around 9:30 a.m., the woman was struck by a northbound vehicle. The 53-year-old driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. Officials stated that impairment is not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
The victim was transported to Hennepin Healthcare in critical condition.
