Traffic Advisory: East University Avenue Closed Due to Crash in Des Moines
DES MOINES, Iowa — A crash prompted the closure of a portion of East University Avenue on Friday afternoon.
Authorities reported that the westbound lanes of East University at East 25th Street are temporarily closed as emergency responders address the situation at the intersection of East University and Hubbell Avenue. The eastbound exit from Interstate 235 to East University Avenue is also shut down.
There are no confirmed injuries or fatalities at this time. Des Moines Police indicated that the scene is expected to be cleared by approximately 5 p.m.
