COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — An e-bike and car crashed at East 17th Avenue and North 4th Street just before 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Columbus, sending cyclist to a hospital.
According to the Columbus Police, officers responded to the University District intersection just before 10:30 a.m.
Authorities said the bicyclist was taken to The Ohio State Medical Center with serious injuries.
According to CPD, the rider was described as stable but in very critical condition.
The car's driver was not injured, police said.
The incident remains under investigation.
