BROOKLINE, N.H. — A 33-year-old man from New Durham sustained serious injuries in a snowmobile crash on Friday night.
The incident occurred around 8 p.m. near Cleveland Hill Road. According to authorities, the man was traveling downhill on a curve when he attempted to avoid a large rock on the trail. Witnesses reported that he turned sharply, causing him to be thrown off the snowmobile.
Officials believe that inexperience may have contributed to the crash. The injured man was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
