A Columbus Division of Police crash report lists the collision time as 7:05 p.m. near Neil Avenue and states no injuries were reported.
Authorities said the striking driver was cited for driving without an operator's license and assured clear distance ahead. Police said the vehicle was impounded.
In a separate incident hours earlier, Columbus police responded to another rear-end crash on westbound I-670 approaching I-70. Authorities said the driver was cited for assured clear distance and driving without a valid license.
ODOT reminded motorists that if they miss an exit, they should continue to the next exit rather than stopping on the interstate.
